About First Church of God
Who We Are
Here at FCOG, our mission is to love God and love people by keeping Jesus the Subject of everything that we do while we GROUP together in fellowship, GROW together spiritually, and GO together into our community. We are a congregation of the Church of God Reformation Movement of Anderson, Indiana.

First Church of God Services
Sunday's
Here at FCOG, we meet together for morning worship at 10:00. Children are released for classes following the music portion of our service, and nursery care is provided throughout the entire morning.
Sunday evenings we meet together for music and Bible study at 6 pm. Childcare is not provided for our evening services at this time.
Wednesday's
Wednesday nights are dedicated to Bible Study. Adult Bible Study begins at 7 pm
Youth and Children's programs start at 7:00 with music worship and Bible teachings. The younger children will also do a craft during their time here.

Pastor Wendell Abbott
Lead Pastor
Pastor Wendell has faithfully served our congregation since 2010. He is active in various community groups and projects including the Nowata Ministerial Alliance and the Church Service Team of Oklahoma for the Church of God Anderson. He and His wife, Michelle, are a blessing to both our congregation and our community.

Get Involved
Men's Fellowship
Men's Fellowship meets the third Saturday of the Month at 8:30 am for breakfast at the Mabery Center. Their activities include work days for clean-up or repairs and special projects.


Women of Church Of God (WCG's)
The Women of the Church of God play an active role in the mission of the church. Their main focus is missions and service to others. They meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 3:30 pm in the Mabery Center. Some of the activities they do include a Craft Fair in November, fundraisers for both foreign and local missions, adopt a child program through World Vision, and most recently a Ladies Tea.
